Dr. Abhiman M. Pawar studied medicine at R.C.S.M. Govt. Medical College, Kolhapur. He did his M.D. in Medicine at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal, and received his Doctorate of National Board (DrNB) from Apollo Hospital, Chennai. He also completed a Fellowship in Advanced Endoscopy from Aryavart Hospital, Meerut. Before, he worked as a Senior Resident at Bharati Vidyapeeth Medical College, Sangli. Currently, he is a Consultant Gastroenterologist, Hepatologist & Interventional Endoscopist at Bharati Hospital, Sangli. His main interests are in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, IBS, Liver Cirrhosis, Therapeutic Endoscopy, and GI Oncology.
He is part of medical associations like the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian National Association for the study of Liver, and Colitis & Crohn’s Foundation India. Dr. Pawar has shared his research in various conferences and journals, both nationally and internationally.
